The Bison Finance Society is Bucknell University’s premier finance organization, dedicated to preparing students for careers in investment banking, private equity, and other competitive finance fields. Founded in 2020, BFS provides a structured platform for developing technical skills, industry knowledge, and professional networks through alumni engagement and hands-on learning opportunities. BFS hosts two weekly education sessions, covering core finance concepts including valuation, financial modeling, and market analysis. BFS also hosts the annual Capstone Project, a stock pitch where members are selected to present to industry professionals and alumni. With 500+ active members, BFS bridges classroom learning with practical, career-oriented experience.
