The Seidman Investment Portfolio Organization (IPO) is the premier collegiate business organization with a financial focus at Grand Valley State University fostering over 100 members each semester. The organization is student-run with over $150,000 assets under management diversified into eight sectors. Founded in 1976, IPO is focused on developing its members into top tier business professionals through extensive training and mentorship opportunities. In addition to managing the fund, IPO provides members with a comprehensive introduction to the financial services industry through guest lectures, investment education sessions, exclusive networking opportunities, and a comprehensive Analyst Training Program. In order to develop its members into well rounded business professionals, IPO also provides guidance for public speaking skills, networking tactics, and resume and LinkedIn expertise. The club's goals are to both outperform the market and provide students with a solid foundation for career success in the business world.
