The Investment Banking Group (IBG) is designed to provide students from Virginia Tech the opportunity to better position themselves for a career in investment banking, private equity, and hedge funds. The group provides members opportunities of networking, professional development, recruitment preparation, and much more. IBG runs a multi‑phase program that mirrors top banks: technical foundations, modeling bootcamps, deal simulations, and interview prep. Alumni mentor underclassmen, drive accountability, and elevate outcomes each year.
