Adventis has been a proud partner with the University of Kansas Jennette Finance Scholars since 2024. Since our partnership began, we have had over 20 University of South Carlina students earn our FMC Level I Certification to develop strong financial modeling expertise, excel knowledge, and technical interview skills to land their dream jobs in the finance industry. We have hosted 1 boot camp on campus and plan to host 3-4 annually on a go forward basis.

Boot Camps

Adventis hosts 2 in-person boot camps annually at the University of Kansas on an annual basis. All students at the University of Kansas who are enrolled in Adventis can gain free access to our in-person boot camps. Boot camps cover the exact same material taught in the online FMC Program, and are for students who prefer to supplement the learning with an in-person version. Boot camps are 8 hours on a Saturday OR Sunday

The Jennett Finance Scholars Program provides participants with a broad overview of careers in finance and institutions and helps them prepare for competitive financial careers

Participants must be finance majors with a strong interest in careers such as investment banking, investment management, private wealth management and corporate finance.

Finance Scholars' strong alumni network allows participants in the program to become acquainted with recruitment practices at top-tier financial institutions, as well as internship and full-time opportunities. Alumni also provide guidance and advice that allow scholars to access opportunities within the industry. Over the years, Finance Scholars alumni have developed an outstanding presence in the financial services industry.

Finance Scholars are selected through a competitive process based on academic achievement, leadership, and interest in competitive financial careers. The program provides a $2,000 scholarship, visits to financial institutions, opportunities for networking, two seminars designed to provide an in-depth view of the financial industry and careers, as well as provide practical training in modeling and valuation.

The Jennett Finance Scholars Program has partnered with Grata, a leading deal-sourcing platform for private markets to connect scholars with internship opportunities in private equity, investment banking and corporate development.
